The University Student Council (USC) Finance Committee together with the UP Junior Marketing Association and the aid of the College of Engineering Student Council held the second part of M.I.L.E.S, Marketing in Leadership Excellence Seminar last July 18, 1-4pm, at the College of Engineering P&G room. This time, the seminar catered to organization heads.
The finance and marketing seminar aimed to help organizations in areas such as brand development, event organizing and marketing, and financial management.
The event was spearheaded by USC Councilor and Finance Committee member Jo Latuja. The USC Finance Committee is headed by Councilor Aisa King. The committee also held the same seminar for local college councils.

The Office of the Economics Representative officially convened!
The Office of the Economics Representative was officially convened last July 13, 2007 at the School of Economics Student Council Room. Members of this committee shall both be part of the USC Volunteer Corps and the SESC Volunteer Corps. The following members shall serve the following functions:

SESC and USC Gender Committee launch the GENDER DESK
The School of Economics Student Council (SESC) and the University Student Council (USC) recently launched the GENDER DESK last July 10, 6pm, at the UPSE Acquaintance Party with the theme DELTA: Feel the Change.
This is in line with SESC's goal of a more tolerant, more open-minded, and more diverse UPSE community and with the USC's goal of continuing to empower students.
SESC's Gender Representatives are Marian Panganiban and Paul Feliciano.

USC CCA kicks-off Tanghalan Tanghalian, LIKHA series
The University Student Council Committee on Culture and the Arts (CCA), and the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy Student Council (CSSP SC) recently held Tanghalan Tanghalian with the UP Concert Chorus last July 9, 2007, Monday, at 12:30 p.m. at the Palma Hall Lobby. Tanghalan Tanghalian is a series of noontime performances from the University's finest cultural organizations. Watch out for it in the School of Economics soon.
CCA, CSSP SC, and the UP Advertising Core (ADCORE) also started off LIKHA: Linangan ng Kakayahan, a creative skills workshop serie with a crash course on basic publicity layoutv using Adobe Photoshop held last July 10, 2007, Tuesday, at 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the PH 207 (CSSP AVR).
