USC holds GAGA 2; Gender Sensitivity Training Seminar

The University Student Council Gender Committee in cooperation with the Office of Anti-Sexual Harassment (OASH) UP Diliman Gender Office (DGO) recently held “GO GAGA 2! The Grand Orientation of the General Assembly of Gender Advocates” last July 31, 2007, Tuesday, 4.45PM at the Activity Center, Vinzons Hall

The General Assembly of Gender Advocates (GAGA) is the umbrella formation of individuals, organizations, representatives of college student councils, sororities and fraternities under the USC Gender Committee.

The committee also held a gender-sensitivity training seminar at the UP DGO for local college councils last August 1 from 1 to 4 pm and an exhibit at the first floor AS lobby from July 30 to August 3 that introduces students to the committee’s advocacies and projects for the semester. It also features details regarding OASH’s poster-making campaign for gender equality.

The Gender Committee is headed by College of Education Representative Paula Mendoza.
